Linking Google Drive and Google Analytics to Authoritylabs
There are two primary Google applications you’re able to link to your AuthorityLabs account.
- Google Drive: Allows you to save CSV exports to your Google Drive.
- Google Analytics: Allows you to activate the Now Provided Report
Linking these applications all starts with first linking your Google Profile.
- Click on Account > Access > OAuth Tokens > Link a Google Account. You’ll then be taken to a screen where you can choose which one of your Google Accounts to link (if you have more than one). You’ll know if you successfully linked a Google Profile if it’s listed under “Connected Services”.
The next step is to allow access to Google Analytics and Google Drive.
Click on “Google Profile” (as seen in the above image). You’ll then be taken to the following screen.
Click on the green buttons to allow access. After you’ve done so you’ll see the added applications listed under “Connected Services”
At this point you’ll be able to save exports to your Google Drive as well as activate your Now Provided reports. Keep in mind to setup a Now Provided report you MUST have the Google Analytics credentials to the domain you want to generate a report for.
